The UGA National Golf Team is more than a program—it’s a pipeline to ensure young minority golfers are seen, supported, applauded, and given a fair chance to compete at the highest level.
The United Golfers Association is committed to developing the next generation of elite Black golfers by providing world-class coaching, competitive opportunities, and holistic growth. Our mission is to equip young athletes with the skills, mentorship, and support needed to succeed at the highest levels of the sport while fostering excellence, sportsmanship, and leadership. This spring, UGA will host elite golfers who have proven themselves competitively and are now members of this inaugural 2025 Class. The UGA Developmental Golf Academy will host 10+ golf athletes for success on and off the course through tailored coaching and professional guidance.
Our Vision:
The UGA Golf Academy is poised to become the nation’s leading development pipeline for Black junior and collegiate golfers, laying the foundation for success at every level of the game — from youth competitions to professional tours. For the 2025–2026 season and beyond, we are building a robust ecosystem that supports promising talent with elite coaching, academic preparation, competitive opportunities, and life skills. Our Academy will serve as the bridge that guides players through the ranks: junior standouts, collegiate athletes, and eventually tour professionals.
