Objective of the UGA Scholarship Fund
The UGA Scholarship Fund exists to invest in the future of golf by removing one of the greatest barriers to success—access to higher education. Rooted in our nearly 100-year mission to level the playing field, the Fund empowers African American junior and collegiate golfers to pursue their academic and athletic dreams without being sidelined by financial constraints. These student-athletes are not only competitors on the course—they are future leaders, scholars, and changemakers who represent the next generation of golf excellence.
Fueling Dreams Through Education
Each year, the United Golfers Association awards four $2,500 scholarships to deserving student-athletes who have demonstrated both academic achievement and a commitment to the game of golf. These scholarships provide critical support for tuition, books, travel, and tournament expenses—ensuring our players can focus on reaching their full potential. Your contribution directly uplifts these students, helping us bridge the gap between promise and opportunity while honoring our legacy of championing Black golfers at every stage of their journey.
